Mercury Systems Appoints Brian Perry President of Mercury Defense Systems Subsidiary
CHELMSFORD, Mass., July 31, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Mercury Systems, Inc. (Nasdaq:MRCY) (www.mrcy.com), a leading provider of affordable, commercially developed, open sensor processing systems and services for critical commercial, defense and intelligence applications, announced the appointment of Brian Perry as President of its Mercury Defense Systems (MDS) subsidiary. Mr. Perry will lead key strategic electronic warfare (EW), electronic attack (EA), signals intelligence (SIGINT) and intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR) growth initiatives, provide overall business direction and lead the day-to-day operations of the Cypress, Calif.-based group.

Most recently, Mr. Perry served as Vice President and General Manager of Mercury's Services and Systems Integration (SSI) group. Prior to joining Mercury, he was the General Manager for Suntron Corporation's Northeast Express, which included responsibility for advanced prototyping, design services, and systems engineering and integration. Prior to Suntron, Mr. Perry served in various roles with Lockheed Martin and General Electric Aircraft Engines in the development of key engine and control technologies. Mr. Perry holds a bachelor's degree in aeronautical engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute, an MBA in Management of Technology from Bentley College and is a graduate of Harvard Business School's Advanced Management Program.
